This beautiful, golden Skyr smoothie is so smooth, satisfying, and tropical! It’s made with Icelandic coconut Skyr, mangos, and peaches and it’s the perfect delicious nutrient-packed breakfast or refreshing snack.
Now that the leaves are turning colors, everyone has been jumping on that cozy-soup and pumpkin train (me included)… BUT, how about just for a bit, we take a lil tropical trip to somewhere refreshing, cool and oh-so-satisfying… like this mango-y, peach-y, and coconutty Skyr smoothie you could slowly be sipping as you take a little afternoon break. Plus, depending on where you live, you might actually need to cool down because it might still be super hot outside (like for me, living here in coastal NC).
A while back I posted a recipe for an amazing Icelandic blueberry Skyr smoothie. I couldn’t stop there, of course, so I came up with another incredible smoothie combination of tangy-sweet peach and tropical mango paired with a creamy coconut Skyr… and it’s incredible! I’ve literally had this smoothie for breakfast most days for the last two months and I’m still not tired of it! There is just something perfectly balanced when mangos and peaches come together in a beautiful dance of fruity bliss… Maybe it’s the sweetness and the tang?
Why I love this smoothie

What you will need
It’s a fairly simple list…
- Skyr! I recommend Siggis Coconut Skyr or Icelandic Provisions Coconut Skyr. They are both amazing!
- Some frozen fruits – mango, peaches, banana
- Honey
- Unsweetened milk (or plant based option) of choice – almondmilk, oatmilk, cashewmilk, dairy milk, etc.
Now just blend everything up and take a nice relaxing smoothie break 🙂

Peach and Mango Golden Skyr Smoothie

This beautiful, gold smoothie is so smooth, satisfying, and tropical! It’s made with Icelandic coconut Skyr, mangos, and peaches and it’s the perfect delicious nutrient-packed breakfast or refreshing snack.
Ingredients
- 5 oz coconut Skyr *
- 1/2 cup sliced frozen peaches
- 1/2 cup chopped frozen mango
- 1/3 cup sliced frozen banana (about 1/2 a medium banana)
- 1 tsp honey
- 2/3 cup almondmilk, unsweetened
Instructions
- Place Skyr, peaches, mangos, and banana in the blender. Drizzle honey over the fruit. Pour in the almond milk.
- Blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
Makes one large 17 ounce smoothie or 2 smaller sized ones.
* If you’re not living in Iceland, in the US you can buy Siggis Coconut Skyr or Icelandic Provisions Coconut Skyr, which are both absolutely wonderful!
You can substitute any dairy milk, or other plant-based options (cashewmilk, oatmilk, etc), however I recommend picking an unsweetened or a lower sugar one for this recipe.
When testing this I noticed that the quality of fruit heavily influenced the taste of the smoothie. As you would expect, the most ripe, sweet peaches and mangos made for the best smoothie! Consider making your own frozen fruit when it’s fresh in season.
